Position is on site with various clients, so ability to travel in the Tri-Cities area is a must.

The Accounting Assistant role will be responsible for:

Payroll, billing, AP, AR and similar accounting-related tasks

General administrative duties

Monthly and quarterly reporting & reconciliation

In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, the Accounting assistant will also be asked to do the following:

Prepare financial documents, balance sheets, and reports

Maintain the confidentiality of client data and financial documents at all times

Provide assistance to other staff with bookkeeping and/or clerical duties

Additional tasks and projects as requested/required

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills:

At least 2 years of accounting experience (combination of school/hands on learning is acceptable here!)

Proficiency in QuickBooks is required - in addition, comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint + Gmail + Google Suite of products

Excellent mathematical, analytics, and data entry skills

Must have presentation and communication skills (oral and written)

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines

Above average detail-orientation and time-management skills
