Every family has a legacy. Some families also have a blueprint.
I grew up watching what long-term thinking looks like in real life.
My father was an entrepreneur, a public-company CEO (including leadership at Anthem), and a published author. But more than titles, he modeled how decisions made early echo across decades.
Our family’s story spans entrepreneurship, public-company leadership, M&A, private equity; and now a third generation actively participating in building and stewarding that legacy.
Along the way came successes, hard lessons, and transitions that required more than technical expertise. They required judgment, values, and perspective.
Those experiences continue to shape how we guide families today.
Curious how others think about legacy, and what shaped the way you approach long-term decisions.
