OPEN ENROLLMENT for Health Insurance 2018

•Begins Nov 1 to Dec 15 for Jan 1, 2018, effective date for Md. residents
•Many will receive reduced monthly cost & deductibles due to government subsidies.
•Carefirst of Md. & Kaiser Permanente will be only carriers offering coverage in Md.
•Small group rates should be lower than individual rates for the first time in Maryland.
•Open Enrollment for most is the only time benefits/carriers can be changed.
