Nothing you need, everything you want! Barter Joe's opened in Sept 2012, but was a long time in the making. Kansas area. Thank you all!

Since 2001 Barter Joe was stockpiling (hoarding, lol) video game systems, games, DVD's, collectibles, etc. & selling the most expensive items on E-bay, but was secretly holding on to his hoard for the day he could kiss the corporate world goodbye and could open his own business. ving owned 3 businesses of her own in the past), she was just the catalyst that Barter Joe needed. With her help & support, along with Barter Joe's 30 years experience in sales, retail management & customer service turned out to be the perfect mix for just such a business venture. After some early business trial & error, we have morphed into a hybrid of a Pawn Shop/Vintage Stock type of store that Buys, Sells & Trades.....but doesn't pawn. We currently have the largest selection of vintage gaming, DVD's, music CD's & retro collectibles in the S.E. Today, Joe runs the everyday operations, Kathy does the accounting & beautiful landscaping and their son Caden & daughter Alexa help Joe part-time. And after all these years in business, we are living proof that a dream can start with practically nothing. We owe it to you, our customers, for shopping locally & for giving a small, family run business a chance.

FREE STUFF! Work bench is large at 94"x29"x42" and could use some repairs to make it fully sturdy again. Glass came from retail display cases, so they vary in size and a large fancy picture. All items are on the West side of the building at 605 w. 4th St. in Pittsburg. Not at that location to give updates on if they're gone yet and first come, first served.

Free window sticker/decals. First come, first served. Not 100% sure they will come of without tearing. I only ask is that you get them off when I'm here monday thru sunday 10am-5pm & that you are careful with my windows. I have alarms on when I'm not here that could be tripped or a patrol car might think you are doing something nefarious after dark.

Barter Joe's is now officially closed.....finally eh? lol Thanks again, for all the years of loyally shopping with us. I will still be in the area and will still be buying & selling gaming stuff along with trading cards. This is the final, final closing post. Our very final last day, the door will be open, will be Sept. 7.....which just happens to be our 12 year anniversary date. We will be open Wed/Thurs/Friday 11-5:30pm. After Sept. 7, until Oct. 1, I can let people in via appointments only to buy.

I do apologize, but once I again I'm changing my days/hours of operation. Starting today, Friday 6/16 our new days/hours will be Wed/Thurs/Friday 11-5:30pm. There will be no more Saturday's (I'm busier on Wednesday's) and my last day open will be July 28th. However, I will be at the store cleaning & packing on the other days, so if you coordinate with me the day before and know exactly what you want, I can let you in to grab something. Keep in mind I will still be selling my games/systems & trading cards locally & online for years to come.

All discs will be sold as-is, with no cleanings.....so please inspect the discs before you buy. Also have 5pk empty DVD cases for $1, 10pk empty CD cases for $3, $1 to $3 electronic power supplies & cables, 2 for $5 wrestling figures, $5 each or 3 for $10 vintage TMNT & He-man figures, $6 600ct sports cards packs, Skylanders for $1 to $3 each, loose hot-wheels 4 for $1, wii sports accessories $3 each, wii controllers skins $1 each, random a/v game cables $1 each, xbox 360 kinects $5 each, $3 controller charging stands, gaming headsets $5 each, game consoles with issues $5 to $20 each, etc. Deals being made on everything, but the working game systems, games & trading cards. New store days/hours are starting this week, we will now be open Thurs & Friday from 11-5:30pm and on Saturday's from 9-1. My close date of June 1 has obviously been pushed back to either July 1 or August 1. Stay tuned for close-out sales starting on Thursday.

I do apologize, but Barter Joe's will need to be closed down today 5/8/23 also, so I can get the store back organized after taking 1/2 of my inventory to the Fort Scott City wide sale over the weekend.
