Thank you all so much for your unwavering support, prayers, and love for Madhu and her husband Deepak throughout this past week.

It is with profound sadness that we share that, to date, no survivors have been found in the Gyirong Immigration Port area, and no members of the Isha S3 group have been located.

Announcements will be made regarding religious and memorial services in India and Dallas in the coming days. Please know that our team remains committed to continuing to serve you and keeping your work moving forward as smoothly as possible during this difficult time.

Today, we are sharing some very difficult news regarding our President and owner, Madhu Ahuja. Madhu and her husband are currently among those missing in the devastating flash floods that occurred on the Nepal/Tibet border. They were traveling as part of a pilgrimage group when the disaster occurred. Search and rescue efforts remain ongoing, and we remain hopeful for their safe return.

Madhu founded Ahuja & Consultants Inc. over 20 years ago and has built a team of dedicated professionals and clients by treating them as family. There is never a challenge Madhu is not willing to take on and when she does success is always the result. She is well respected by her A&C team, her clients, and the entire community.

We will provide additional information as it becomes available and when we are able to do so. We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and compassion for Madhu and the Ahuja family during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts are with Madhu, her husband, their family, and everyone working to bring them home.

Meet James Kennedy - Accounting Services Manager at Ahuja & Consultants.

Jim manages the accounting function for clients and serves as a fractional Controller/CFO, helping clients navigate their accounting needs and providing hands-on support. What he enjoys most about his work is the diversity of clients and projects, along with the opportunity to interact with clients and have an impact on their business.

Jim earned his BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas. He is also a member of the AICPA.

Outside of work, Jim enjoys gardening and cooking. He’s also looking forward to welcoming two grandsons soon.

Meet Devon Kwande - Manager of the Tax Department at Ahuja & Consultants.

As a manager, Devon helps clients navigate complex tax matters. His expertise includes proactive tax planning, tax-efficient employee compensation strategies, IRS collection representation, and advising federal and state receivers and bankruptcy trustees on compliance matters.

Devon attended the University of Zimbabwe and Colorado State University and holds both his CPA and Certified Tax Resolution Consultant credentials. He's also an active member of the AICPA and Tax Rep Network.

Outside the office, you'll likely find Devon training for a long-distance run, riding his motorcycle, or spending time with his daughter.
