Today, we honor Jeff Hines — an extraordinary rider, adventurer, and cherished member of the ElliptiGO community.
Jeff and his wife, Patti, weren’t just part of this community — they helped define it. As members of the ElliptiGO Century Club, Jeff ( #23) and Patti ( #47) were among the very first people in the world to complete a 100-mile ride on an ElliptiGO bike. Together, they went on to complete century rides in 43 of the 50 states, always with their ElliptiGOs in tow and their sense of adventure leading the way. Their journey was truly one of a kind. From to what they lovingly called "cardio tourism", Jeff and Patti’s self-converted Ford Transit van was purpose-built to carry two long-stride 11Rs — and a lifetime of stories. Wherever they went, they brought curiosity, encouragement, and a deep love for movement and connection. Jeff was also a proud, active member of the Global ElliptiGO Riders Club (GERC), showing up for organized rides, competitive challenges, and the shared joy that makes this community so special. His presence was motivating, inspiring, and deeply felt.
Jeff’s legacy lives on in every long ride, every new adventure, and every rider who dares to GO a little farther. He will always be part of the ElliptiGO family 💙
