A lot of people start out managing their own investments, and for a while, that works just fine.

But there usually comes a point where finances become more complex. More accounts, more decisions, and more at stake. That’s when questions start to shift from “what should I invest in” to “how does everything fit together.”

We put together a blog that walks through a few signs it might be time to bring in a little more structure and support.

Paul Stanley recently joined the Schwab Network to share insight following NVIDIA’s latest earnings call and the continued attention around AI and the technology sector.

There’s been a lot of conversation lately around how quickly AI is influencing markets and investor sentiment, and it was great to see Paul contributing perspective to that broader discussion.

Always interesting to hear how major market themes are being viewed through a long term lens.

Taxes don’t always get as much attention as investments, but they can have just as much impact over time.

It’s not usually about making big changes all at once. More often, it’s the smaller decisions that add up and make things work a little more efficiently along the way.

It might be worth taking a closer look at how everything fits together.

Retirement can feel like it’s “down the road” until suddenly it’s not.

Those last few years leading up to it tend to bring up a lot of questions. Are things set up the right way? Does everything still align with what you want that next chapter to look like?

It’s usually not about making big, drastic changes. More often, it’s about making sure the pieces are organized, intentional, and working together the way they should.

We put together a simple checklist for the five years leading into retirement that can help bring some clarity to that process.

Feels like the market has been reacting to just about everything lately.

Headlines change, sentiment shifts, and it can be tempting to follow along with every move. But most of the time, the better conversations are around staying focused on the bigger picture and not letting short term noise drive long term decisions.

That tends to be easier said than done, but it’s where a lot of clarity comes from.

We spent the last two nights at the One Hundred Club and had full rooms of folks looking to talk about estate and retirement planning.

Good conversations, plenty of questions, and a chance to talk through some of the things people don’t always get to ask in a bigger setting.

Taxes are one of those things that can quietly have a big impact over time.

It’s not always about making major changes. Often, it’s the smaller, more thoughtful decisions along the way that can make a difference in how much you keep and how efficiently your plan works.

We put together a blog that walks through a few practical ways people think about tax efficient investing and how it fits into a broader plan. If it’s something you’ve been meaning to take a closer look at, this is a good place to start: https://loom.ly/JTsML50

With a stretch of cloudy days, it makes you appreciate the blue sky a little more when it shows up.

Funny how that works. A little contrast tends to bring things into focus.

Financial planning can feel the same way. There are always going to be periods that feel uncertain or a bit unclear, but having things organized and thought through makes it easier to stay steady through it.

And when things do clear up, you’re in a much better position to enjoy it. ☀️
