It’s almost April! Still haven’t filed your taxes? Now is the time to bring it in. We will not be taking any appointments after April 1st to ensure all taxes are completed in house by the deadline. If after April 1st, we will be filing an extension for you. Whoever we have in house before April 1, we will get those done before the deadline.

You may still drop off your tax paperwork after April 1 but may not be completed by the deadline.

TRUMP ACCOUNT:

Trump Account is a new, tax-deferred, IRA-style investment account for children under 18, launched in 2026 A key feature is $1000 seed money deposited by the US Treasury for children born between 2025 and 2028.

The account is designed long-term growth, allow total annual contributions of up to $5000, with funds generally locked in until the child turns 18.

If you have overtime pay, be sure to bring the last pay stub of 2025 with your W-2. You will get a deduction for the premium overtime you were paid.

Just a reminder. April 1st is coming up soon! Taxes will be completed in house for those that are dropped off by April 1st. After that date, it may be completed, but not guaranteed. Extensions will be filed.

It is tax season time! IRS officially opens their filing window on January 29, 2024. We will not be sending out postcards this year. If you need a tax questionnaire, you can go to the website www.pondaccounting.com, look under Resources, Tax Questionnaire is listed in there. If you would like for us to mail you one, please give us a call and we will mail you one! Looking forward to working with you this year! You can drop your tax paperwork off as usual.
