CITY OF PRESCOTT TAX RATE INCREASE – EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2025

(March 6, 2025)-- Prescott voters approved Proposition 478 on November 5, 2024, establishing a 0.95% Public Safety Sales Tax.

As a result, the City of Prescott’s transaction privilege (sales) tax will increase from 2.00% to 2.95%, effective April 1, 2025.

With this change, the new combined tax rate (State, County & City) will be 9.30%.

Job Description:
As a Receptionist / Customer Service Representative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer experience while performing various office tasks. You will handle a range of responsibilities from answering phone calls to managing customer inquiries and assisting our team with administrative duties. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail will be vital in fostering a welcoming and efficient office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients warmly and manage front desk operations in a professional manner.
Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and accurately.
Assist clients with insurance and accounting-related questions, providing information and directing them to the appropriate resources.
Maintain accurate records and update client information in our database.
Support the office with various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
Property and Casualty insurance license required; candidates without a license must be willing to obtain it within 30 days.
Previous customer service experience is essential.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling tasks.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
