Hi Leadership Pueblo Class of 2016! I hope you are all doing well personally and professionally! Jill and David are planning a 10 year reunion for our class on Saturday, May 9th from 4 to 7pm at Three Birds Coffee at 119 Broadway Ave. We will have the back loft reserved and there will be appetizers, coffee, and drinks for purchase. There are some of our classmates not on this list, so if anyone could reach out to following and let them know about the reunion, that would be great.
I do not have contact info for Carl, Margaret, Cherie, Luis, Chris M., Diana, Troy, Patrick, Amber, Stephen, and Julie.
Please let either David or I know if you are able to attend. Looking forward to see everyone and catching up!

Hello, My Amazing Friends

It is with a sad, but optimistic heart, that I follow up on my initial invite to meet this Saturday, May 20th, for an informal Leadership Pueblo 2016 reunion. As of this morning, only 3 of us have confirmed their attendance as this is a very busy season, given graduation, end of the school year, change of season, etc. I have not lost hope, nor will I stop trying to bring us all back together for a little gathering . . . However, I am postponing the May 20th attempt in favor of a June 24th date.
I realize it is impossible to please all the people all of the time, but I was honestly hoping more than 3 people out of over 30 would confirm and attend this effort.

Looking forward, recognizing Father's Day as a holiday weekend for many, I am going to try this again on June 24th, from 4 pm to whenever we decide to end this more attended event. Same place, Sunset Inn at the intersection of Prairie & Thatcher.

I have also had a difficult time contacting a couple of our friends so hopefully this will allow me time to track them down and share this invite for June 24th.

Again, May 20th is postponed until June 24th. Same time, same place, same Bat channel, just a different date . . .

Until then, I miss you all and hope to see you the evening of June 24th

Good afternoon, Everyone

I hope this communique finds you all in good health and happy spirits . . . It's been a long time since we completed Leadership Pueblo 2016. I think it is about time to get together for an informal gathering of friends.

I have spoken with Brues Alehouse and they can accommodate us on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 1 pm to 4 pm. If people wish to stay beyond that time, we just have to move from the reserved space to empty tables. I am asking for an outdoor area so we can enjoy the beautiful weather (I hope) but in the event of inclement weather, they will move us indoors. The number of confirmed attendees will also play a determining factor in whether they can give us an outdoor space to meet and what will work best for the restaurant.

Today is April 28th. This event is scheduled for May 23rd. That's 25 days from now. If you will please reply via this email thread, either yes or no, by May 8th, then I can negotiate with a concrete number attending and hopefully have leverage to secure the best space possible. And yes, of course, please invite your significant other. Simply respond with your total number of attendees in your email and I will share the total with Kaci at Brues on the 10th.

Because I have no idea how well this will go over, I have not contracted into a menu or negotiated anything beyond a discussion regarding space for us to meet. It is my hope that they can accommodate us with a server, or servers, who can offer separate checks but even that is not possible until I have a final confirmed number of attendees.

I also noticed that some of these email addresses may be out of date. I will do my best to contact those people who do not/will not receive this email (Luis Velez, James Olonia and Stephen Marquez) but if you would also help spread the word, we can have a nice & safe get together, enjoy each other's company, partake in some delicious food, and if you wish, a tasty libation, alcoholicor not.

Gathering is May 23 from 1 to 4 pm.
I respectfully request your RSVP by May 8th.

I will reach back out with confirmed plans after I share confirmed numbers with the restaurant on May 10th.

My sincerest wishes are that you all will attend. I also understand that our world has changed and COVID now plays a huge part in our decisions to socialize.
Whether you attend or not, know that I miss you all and love all of you. Leadership Pueblo has had a huge impact on my life. But not as much as you all have.

2020 is done and 2021 is ahead of us. Here's to hoping we learned from the year and instead of trying to return to the old normal, we strive to create a NEW healthier, civil, prosperous and kind normal. Happy New Year!

To The Best Class Ever,
One of the things we did was secure `Leadership Pueblo 16' as our trade name and establish a Colorado nonprofit with the Sec. of State. Seemed alike a good thing to do at the time as several of you indicated a possible need for that `vehicle' in the future. That has not happened. Add to that the Chamber was not pleased we took that action.
Please make comment here, or pm me, your view on continuing to keep that nonprofit.
Note: Since it is/has been inactive since 2016, there is no cost, fees, taxes etc. involved other that annual renewal paperwork with the state.
PLEASE let me know soonest.
