A client watched anonymous 1-star reviews pile up on his business, each one more personal, and he was sure he knew who was behind it. Replying in public only spreads that kind of attack, so the move is to document and trace.
Anonymous does not mean untraceable: usernames reused elsewhere, posting times, writing style, and connected accounts leave a trail, and following it back to a real person is a large part of what I do, documented so an attorney can act. Being targeted by a fake account?
