It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our founding partner and beloved colleague, Richard J. "Dick" Mengel.

Dick co-founded our firm in 1975 and dedicated more than 50 years to serving clients, mentoring colleagues, and helping guide the growth of MMB+CO. His vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to exceptional client service helped establish the values and culture that continue to define our firm today.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dick was known for his integrity, professionalism, and genuine care for others. He built trusted relationships that spanned generations and was a respected advisor, mentor, and friend whose wisdom and guidance influenced countless clients, colleagues, and members of our community.

While he will be greatly missed, his legacy lives on through our people, our culture, and the relationships he helped build over the years.

Armed with a map, a list of clues, and plenty of teamwork, our team took on the Rochester Map Adventure and navigated their way through the city. The effort paid off with a 3rd-place finish and a memorable day of friendly competition and collaboration.
