Thanks to all our clients. A special shout out to Catherine Quinn and Kellie Fuller Grindlay for helping me survive another tax season.

Let's give our favorite accountant a proper take off into the final day of tax season!!!

His personal Keluber driver threatened to sing "The Final Countdown" on the ride to the office, but instead went with an ultimate (wordless!) anthem song.

To Michael Grindlay, our favorite tax Maverick.... today is the last day the pattern is full.

There may only be 4 days left until the filing deadline but it’s sunny out and it’s the home opener for the New England Free Jacks! Taxes can wait.

Dear husband, If you can take the afternoon off for the Red Sox home opener, you can do your own bank deposit.

Love, your wife waiting in the car to drive your bum around some more.

As part of my practice I work with a large number of firefighters from Quincy and other communities. I have the utmost respect for all of them. I push paper, they run to danger. I want to continue working with my Firefighter clients for many years to come. In order to do that, as a community we need to ensure they have all the resources, including chemical free gear, for them to safely do there job. The Quincy City Council had access to all the answers they could possibly need at their disposal last night. They should have moved the bond request out of committee and voted on it last night. Five of our new councilors voted to block a vote adding more weeks of wearing proven harmful gear by our Firefighters. The cost of this new gear to individual Quincy taxpayers works out to $80 a taxpayer. I invite the City Council members who voted against the bond request to stop by my office and I'll pay my $80 in full right now. I'm in the Munroe Building, they know where it is, it's also on their hit list.

I will remember the events of last night in the next City Council election, I ask everyone to do the same.

To the person who rang the buzzer at the office three times at 6:40 AM this morning, while I spend a lot of time in the office I am not there round the clock.
