Rapid City Bookkeeping

Rapid City Bookkeeping is anything but your traditional bookkeeping business, we pride ourselves in using the latest technologies that save you time and money. After spending nearly 10 years in a traditional bookkeeping environment, one of Rapid City Bookkeeping founding partners knew there had to be a better way. One LLC filing later and a partnership with Xero and we have the privilege of helping clients everyday say good bye to heavy overhead and say hello to bookkeeping in the modern world. And yes, in case you were wondering, the view is better from the cloud. Why hire a Bookkeeper instead of an Accountant? The most basic and fundamental difference between an Accountant and a Bookkeeper is that a Bookkeeper helps you to develop custom processes to track and analysis your financial information. This information is then put into a usable and reliable form giving you a true financial picture of your business. On the other hand, an Accountant takes your financial information and files your taxes. Some Accountants do provide Bookkeeping services, however these services are generally not customized to your business and records are kept in a way to make tax filing easier.
