⏳We are finishing up preparing W-2's and 1099's for our business clients today. We wanted to let our clients know that the IRS opened up e-filing yesterday, however that does not mean all the forms are approved yet. We can easily file tax returns with simply W-2's right now, but tax returns that require more deductions and forms including corporation tax returns etc we are waiting not so patiently for IRS to approve forms. (estimated for 2/5/26)

IRS did not change the W-2 for 2025, they are trying to do the revision for 2026.
So for all of our clients we prepare W-2’s for Becky will be including a note and the employee’s last paystub for 2025 with the overtime highlighted this is so important because the employee will need to take that stub for proof of overtime with them when they prepare their taxes. We also will need it for our individual clients we prepare individual returns for with qualified overtime.
