Well medical state legal cannabis got rescheduled to a III today but there is still a long way to go. They do acknowledge it has medical benefits like a Tylenol 3 does but they still won’t let people out of prison for cannabis offenses they still will not decriminalize it. Some relief but we still must continue the fight.

Indiana is taking steps to eliminate all ma*****na advertising within state lines. A new amendment expands the ban beyond billboards to include mailers, TV ads, truck signage, and even digital promotions.

The proposed measure would make it illegal to advertise ma*****na or any other Schedule I substances in Indiana, allowing the state’s attorney general to enforce penalties up to $15,000.

Supporters argue the law would curb illegal promotions, while critics question whether it conflicts with First Amendment rights. If passed, the new restrictions would take effect immediately, with exceptions for pre-existing ad contracts.

What do you think—should Indiana have the power to block cannabis ads entirely? Drop your thoughts below. ⬇️

The cannabis industry is booming—but if you don’t have your financials in order, your business could go up in smoke. The lack of banking access, punitive tax laws like 280E, and complex compliance requirements disproportionately hurt small businesses, social equity operators, and minority entrepreneurs. That’s why understanding how to structure your finances properly is not just about profits—it’s about survival.

🌿This no-holds-barred Ask Us Anything session is your chance to ask top cannabis finance experts about the biggest challenges in the industry—and get real, actionable strategies to protect your business and thrive. Whether you're an operator, investor, or aspiring entrepreneur, this session is built for YOU! No question is too small, too weird, or too high-level.

Key issues we’ll break down (based on YOUR questions):
• 280E survival tactics—how to legally reduce your tax burden so your business isn’t crippled by excessive taxation
• Accessing capital & banking solutions—navigating cash flow, SAFE banking challenges, and alternative funding strategies
• How to keep your license (and avoid fines!)—compliance tips to stay on top of state-by-state rules
• Profitability for small & social equity businesses—real strategies for managing razor-thin margins and increasing cash flow
• How to attract investors—what funders really look for in your books, and how to build financials that secure funding
• Protecting legacy and minority operators—how proper accounting and tax planning helps social equity businesses stay afloat in a corporate-dominated market

Why This Matters:
The cannabis industry should be a pathway to economic empowerment, not a financial trap. But without financial literacy and access to capital, small businesses—especially social equity and minority operators—are often the first to fail. This session will arm you with practical financial tools to help level the playing field, protect your business, and create long-term wealth.
