Recovery Rebate Credit - AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO QUALIFY!

The Recovery Rebate Credit is authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Any eligible individual who did not receive the full amount of the recovery rebate as an advance payment, also known as an Economic Impact Payment, can claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on a 2020 Form 1040 or Form 1040-SR.

All Government EIP distributions (stimulus payments) will be sent directly to recipients from the IRS via check, direct deposit or prepaid card. We do not expect any of those payments to be sent to the Refund Advantage refund transfer accounts. If EIP payments are directed to a refund transfer account, we will communicate with the IRS and the IRS will send the payments directly to the recipient.

Our systems or call centers will not have any information regarding EIP payments. The best method of tracking an EIP payment from the IRS is through the IRS’ “Get my payment” website tool –
