Starting a business can be overwhelming...Setting up good bookkeeping practices can also be overwhelming.

Here's 4 tips for beginners to get you started on the right foot:

1. Keep track of expenses - use a spreadsheet, a google doc, or software like Quickbooks

2. Separate Business and Personal expenses - mingling those are not a good idea ever, you can end up with a mess!

3. Organize your business documentation - Keep all of your documents in an organized and easy to find space so you can reference them when needed to set up bank accounts, apply for loans, and other business activities.

4. Hire a bookkeeper - If you don't have the time, you're not sure what you're doing, or you want help to scale your business faster and more efficiently, outsource your bookkeeping!
