❗️If you need our office to prepare 1099s for you, we must have W9s and total amounts paid to recipients in our office by January 20th to ensure filing by the deadline.❗️

INFORMATIONAL:
The IRS tasks businesses (this includes self-employed individuals) with issuing 1099s to any individual/unincorporated business if they were paid for services exceeding $600 in a calendar year. Failure to do so can cost you up to $660 per informational return not filed. Keep in mind that businesses may still need a 1099 – the only way to determine if a business is exempt is by requesting a W9 form. 1099s are due on January 31st to both the payee and the IRS.

⚠️ 2025 INTAKE FORMS ARE NOW AVAILABLE! ⚠️

RETURNING CLIENTS ONLY:
Each year, you must complete an intake form and sign an engagement letter before your tax return can be prepared. For your convenience, the link has been posted below. You can complete the form using a computer or smart device, or print and complete the form manually. There are also copies available in office.

‼️ There are several changes to the tax provisions this year, so please read through the questions carefully. Existing clients are welcome to drop off or upload documents to the portal at any time.

We are not accepting new clients this tax season. However, if you have already spoke with a tax preparer who has agreed to prepare your tax return, please contact us to receive a new client packet.
