Just because you saw a tax strategy on TikTok doesn't mean you should try it without talking to your CPA first.

The Augusta Rule is real, and it can be a great strategy for qualifying business owners but transferring $6,000 to yourself and calling it rent doesn't automatically make it deductible.

There are rules, documentation requirements, and details that matter. Before you try the Augusta Rule, make sure you're doing it correctly.
