Instead, we are saying "THANK YOU" to all who have served but mostly to those that never came home and their families.

No more paper checks, coming soon, y'all! If you haven't yet, be sure to register with an IRS account online via ID.me or their EFTPS online system. Contact us for more information!

You may have seen that the IRS is moving away from paper checks. If you usually receive a tax refund by paper check, you might also be experiencing some confusion about how you will receive your refund this filing season.

If you claim a refund on your 2025 tax return, new rules may affect how the IRS issues the refund if you don’t provide direct deposit information or if your direct deposit is rejected. Today closes a chapter of many ups and downs we incurred in this 2025 year. As we prepare for the new 2026 year, we continue to reflect on what we've done in these past 9 years (the last 5 of which Mary has been on it full-time versus part-time) - both correctly and incorrectly. We plan to continue making changes to move the firm in the proper direction, as God guides us.
We truly appreciate our clients, and believe we have some of the best ones out there! Please continue to spread the word to those you know needing tax services, as we keep looking to grow year over year. Tax year 2025 will be more complicated than prior years, with the OBBBA bill changing several things.
We are Here to Help!

IRS INTEREST RATES FOR 3rd Qtr 2025:
For individuals, the rate for overpayments and underpayments will be 7% per year, compounded daily. There is no change from 2nd Qtr 2025.
Here is a complete list of the interest rates:
• 7% for overpayments (payments made in excess of the amount owed), 6% for corporations.
• 4.5% for the portion of a corporate overpayment exceeding $10,000.
• 7% for underpayments (taxes owed but not fully paid).
• 9% for large corporate underpayments.
