On the heels of the tremendously successful Mama Joe Project community engagement forum, Wisdom Watch Alliance is energized by the power of community, conversation, and connection.

Some opportunities are worth the drive.

Last week, I made the trip from Richmond to Virginia Beach to support the launch of something special.

iSALT (Institute for Success and Leadership Training) officially expanded to the East Coast, bringing leadership development, emotional intelligence training, executive coaching, workforce development, and soft skills education to the Hampton Roads community.

What impressed me most wasn't just the vision. It was the people behind it.

The room was filled with entrepreneurs, educators, corporate professionals, and community changers who all shared a common goal: to connect, collaborate, and grow together.

As a business owner, I believe some of the most valuable investments we make aren't measured in dollars. They're measured in relationships, partnerships, and the willingness to show up and support the work others are doing to create positive change.

Too often, networking is viewed as collecting business cards. But the real magic happens when talented people come together with a shared commitment to serve, lead, and make an impact.
