In connection with the post I had a few weeks ago, about getting 50 coffees with people and sharing their story or something I learned from them, here is story 1 of 50.

It was so much fun having coffee with Aline Heath and hearing her story! Originally from Brazil, Aline is building a new life here for her children and brings compassion and dedication to her work as an insurance agent. Being fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, has been especially useful for her as she has a lot of Spanish and Portuguese speaking clients.

Fun note: Aline and her husband met by chance after a wrong-number call — now they are married and have two children. Crazy things do still happen sometimes!

50 Coffees. 50 Conversations. 50 Stories.

I've set a goal for the rest of this year:

I want to have coffee with at least 50 people.

Not because I'm trying to sell something.

Not because I need anything.

Because I genuinely believe everyone has a story worth hearing.

Over the past 4 years as a Financial advisor, I've learned that the best opportunities don't come from cold calls or algorithms. They come from real conversations with interesting people.

Entrepreneurs.
Nonprofit leaders.
Small business owners.
Teachers.
Healthcare professionals.
Tradespeople.
Creatives.
Neighbors.
Friends...and people who are simply passionate about what they do.

After each coffee, I'll share a LinkedIn post highlighting something I learned from that person or their business.

My hope is to shine a light on incredible people in our community while learning something new myself.
