Revenue and profit are not the same thing.
It can feel great to see sales increasing, but revenue only tells you how much money your business brought in.
Profit tells you what’s left after your business expenses are taken into account.
That’s why looking at the full financial picture matters. Growing sales is great, but understanding what you’re actually keeping gives you much better information for making business decisions.

Natalie helps businesses maintain accurate, organized financial records and better understand their numbers. She brings three years of public accounting experience, an active CPA license, and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from UW–Oshkosh.

Between client work and keeping up with two young kids, life stays pretty busy. But I genuinely enjoy continuing to learn about the work I do.

That means you might find me listening to a tax podcast while I’m driving to activities, appointments, or errands.
