📅 Hello, September! Business Owners — There’s Another September 15th Deadline to Remember
September 15th isn't just an extension deadline.
It's also the due date for the 3rd quarter estimated tax payment for many taxpayers.
If you're self-employed, own a business, receive rental income, or have other income without enough tax being withheld, estimated payments can help prevent a BIG surprise when you file your return.
A few things to remember:
💰 Your estimated payments should be based on what's actually happening this year — not blindly copied from last year's vouchers.
📈 Making more than expected? You may need to increase your payment.
📉 Having a slower year? You may not need to send as much.
🔄 Had a major change in income? That's a good reason to revisit your estimates.
Good tax planning isn't about finding out what you owe when we prepare the return.
It's knowing where you stand BEFORE we get there.
Have a great September! 🍂
Your tax success starts with a plan — not a form.
