Crawford County residents, our office is diligently working to prepare and mail the 2025 payable 2026 real estate & mobile home tax bills by June 1st. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important process.

Please remember that property taxes should be paid on or before the due dates to avoid additional penalties, publication costs, certified mailing fees, and other charges as required under Illinois State Statute. Failure to pay delinquent taxes may result in your property being offered at the annual tax sale. Payments made timely help avoid unnecessary expenses and possible sale in error situations.

Attention Crawford County residents! Our office is currently working on tax bills, and it’s essential that you stay informed. They will be mailed on June 4th. If you haven’t received your tax bill by July 4th, please reach out to us directly so we can assist you promptly.

Mark your calendars! The installment due dates are set for July 7th and August 25th, with mobile home bills due on August 25th.

Starting today, May 29th, you’ll have the ability to view and pay your tax bills online for your convenience.

Today is the last day to pay your taxes. We will accept cashier's check, money order or cash. Our office is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Tax sale will be Thursday November 7th @ 1pm
