This is a reminder that you have till April 15 to file your taxes or an extension. Unfortunately due to some personal family issues I will be closed on April 1, 2, and 10th. Good morning, it looks like we got a bunch of snow and the city hasn't plowed the front road or alley so if you're keeping your appointment for today the best bet is to park in the front and come through the front door. If you don't have to have your taxes done today, you may want to reschedule. Please be safe if venturing out today!! Have a great day!!

This is an update for those of you with Earned Income credit or Child Tax Credit.

Filers who claim the Earned Income Tax Credit must wait until at least March 2 to get a refund.

The 2026 tax season is officially here. The IRS starts accepting tax returns today! If I have an issue with ones done already I should find out today. If you don't hear from me by 8pm tonight assume everything went through!! Also remember today may take a while to return calls ECT. Have a great day and see you soon if I haven't already! 😀

The IRS announced today that the tax season officially starts January 26, 2026. See you soon!

The announced Monday, January 26, 2026, as the opening of the nation’s 2026 filing season. You will have until Wednesday, April 15, 2026, to file your 2025 tax returns and pay any tax due. Don’t forget that IRS.gov has online tools and resources you can use before, during and after filing your federal tax return. Well its that time of year again! Tax forms are going out and people are starting to receive them. I have my new computer all set up and ready to go for this year. Several appointments have been made already so the season is going to be very busy!! The IRS as of this post still has not announced a filing date for 2026 but most of us believe it will be 1/26. As soon as I know a date, I'll post it. I'll operate as I normally do. You'll be able to get a hold of me by phone, text, email, or messenger, and I'll get back with you as soon as possible.
