When you look back at this crazy week and how it affected your portfolio, ask yourself what your financial advisor did for you.

Did they proactively move you out of equities and fixed income funds with large corporate bond positions before the worst hit?

Were they hard to get in touch with, or drop off the grid altogether?

Worse, did they have your money in commission-based products where they no longer have a care how it performs, since they got paid many moons ago?

If that's your story, you may have a need for a fiduciary fee-only advisor. We weathered the storm well, made pro-active moves with the client's interests in mind, and reached out numerous times to check in.

If this resonates with you, give me a call or text at (201) 850-3954 or drop a note to [email protected].

Stay safe!

MEDICARE HEALTH PLANS OPEN ENROLLMENT IS HERE AGAIN!

NOW is the time to start reviewing your plan!

Open Enrollment for Medicare Health Plans only occurs this year from October 15 to December 7 – so now is the best time to review any notices about changes to your plans (Medicare Part A&B, Part D, “Medigap” Supplemental Plans) for2019.

Open Enrollment allows you to switch your current Medicare plan without answering any personal questions about your health, so you can’t be denied for any pre-existing condition.

New options may be available that could:
• Cost less out-of-pocket
• Cover more/all of your prescriptions
• Have more convenient providers

Did you know that all Medigap coverage is the same? So you may be paying more than you should for the same exact insurance you can get elsewhere. In addition, you and your spouse may be eligible for a household discount if you both own Medicare insurance from the same company.

If you, or anyone you know, has any questions about Medicare Health Plans Open Enrollment, let me be your expert! Let me know if you have any questions or concerns about your current plans. As always, you can call me at (201) 850-3954.
