We are writing to share some bittersweet news. After an extraordinary 47 years of dedicated service to our firm and to you, our valued clients, Mary Sloan, our longest-serving employee, has officially retired effective November 1, 2024.

Mary began as a “temporary employee” when Gino Marinucci founded the firm in December 1977, and her presence has been integral to our growth and success over the years. Her commitment to precision, professionalism, and client satisfaction has left a lasting impact on all of us here, as well as on each of you who had the pleasure of working with her.

For over four decades Mary was a cornerstone of our team, ensuring that clients always received top-notch service and guidance. Her expertise, warmth, and steady presence will be dearly missed by clients and colleagues alike.

We know that Mary has developed wonderful relationships with many of you, and while we’re sad to see her go, we are excited for her to enjoy this new chapter of life. Please join us in celebrating Mary’s extraordinary career and sending her warm wishes for a joyful retirement. We are so grateful for the years she shared with us all.

Today's your lucky day! 🎉 Here's our process broken down for you:

1️⃣ 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢.
Head over to our website's contact page (link in bio!), complete it, and submit it. Make sure you add our domain name (marinuccicpa.com) to your safe-senders list in your email settings! 💻

2️⃣ 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙘𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙡.
Within 1-3 business days, you'll receive a few emails from us. Be sure to check your spam folder, too! There will be an account activation email from our client portal, TaxDome, a welcome email from us with the next steps, and another email from TaxDome prompting you to complete the New Client Assessment form. 📧

3️⃣ 𝙎𝙪𝙗𝙢𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢.
Complete and submit the assessment form once you've activated your account with us. It's a brief questionnaire that should only take 10-15 minutes to complete. 📝

4️⃣ 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙡.
If you had a direct referral to one of our CPAs, you will typically receive a chat message in TaxDome that will include a link to schedule your Intro Call. Please note that Intro Calls are only available from May 1-November 15 each year so that we can focus on our current clients during our busy season. 📅

5️⃣ 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩.
Attend your Intro Call appointment. If you chose a Zoom call, just join via the meeting link in your confirmation email at your scheduled time. If you chose a phone call, please call our office at your scheduled time and we'll get your connected. 📞

6️⃣ 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬 & 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙖𝙡(𝙨).
Typically, if nothing else is needed from you in order to provide a proposal of terms and services, you should receive your proposal(s) within 1-3 business days. All of our proposals have an expiration date, so be sure to pay close attention to the notification email as well as the terms listed in the engagement letter portion of the proposal. Unsigned proposals are removed upon expiration! ✒📆
