Have you ever thought about what your bookkeeping is costing you — besides money?

Back to school means back to routines — and it’s a great time to give your bookkeeping routine a quick check, too. 📚

Three things you can do this month:

✔️ Make sure your bank and credit card accounts are reconciled
✔️ Review outstanding invoices and follow up on anything overdue
✔️ Look at your Profit & Loss and see how your year is actually going

You don’t have to wait until year-end to find out what’s happening in your business.

A few minutes reviewing your numbers now can save a lot of scrambling later!

Last week, my family had the opportunity to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday with an open house filled with family, longtime friends, and so many wonderful memories.

Watching people stop by to celebrate her reminded me that one of life’s greatest gifts is simply having the time to be present with the people who matter most.

It’s a reminder I carry into my work every day. Good systems don’t just create efficiency—they help create the space to enjoy moments like these.

Two years ago today, I celebrated the ribbon cutting for Elite Ledger Solutions with the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce.

It’s hard to believe how much has happened since then—new clients, new relationships, lots of learning, and the opportunity to help so many small business owners.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported this journey.
