Here’s every tax manager’s calendar this week:

Monday: Chase missing K-1s.
Tuesday: Chase missing K-1s. Review returns until 9.
Wednesday: Explain to a client why their K-1 is the reason they’re filing at 11 p.m.
Thursday: File. Drive home. Sleep.

And somewhere in there, the people at home stopped asking when you’ll be back.
