We are always thrilled to partner with innovative teams like Accordance, a Frontier AI company serving tax, audit, and accounting teams. Last week, we dedicated time to collaborate with their team.

Our managing partner, Alan R Sasserath, CPA, MS, kicked off the week by participating in a video series produced by Jack Moore where David Yue interviewed Alan about his experience with the evolution of accounting from calculators to artificial intelligence.

Later in the week, Accordance leaders David Yue, Finsam Samson, and Kai Yue visited our Long Island office to gain a deeper understanding of our practice. Their goal is to help us design AI-assisted workflows that will make our operations more efficient.

Despite being an AI company, their team understands the human element of our work. We truly appreciate the partnership, curiosity, and thoughtfulness that Team Accordance brings to the relationship. Their approach is intentional – taking the time to understand how we work, what our team needs, and how technology can support us in meaningful ways.

Sasserath & Co. Managing Partner Alan Sasserath is proud to serve on the board of this remarkable organization, which is dedicated to supporting and giving back to veterans across Long Island.

The Strata Foundation’s 2026 Golf Outing was tremendous success, bringing together supporters for a memorable day at St. George’s Golf & Country Club. Participants enjoyed a scenic round of golf followed by an evening cocktail reception, with perfect weather and the welcome presence of volunteers from America's VetDogs and the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind throughout the course.

The reception highlighted the impact of the event’s mission. Attendees heard a moving testimonial from a veteran who shared how a service dog transformed his life, offering renewed purpose. Honorees Donna and Gus Lugten also spoke, sharing the heartfelt story behind their 2025 dog naming and encouraging others to take part in this meaningful sponsorship.

All proceeds from the outing will support America’s VetDogs’ new puppy raising center in Smithtown, NY, helping to provide life-changing service dogs to veterans and first responders.

Founder Joe Campolo reflected on the significance of this year’s cause, stating, “As our nation celebrates its 250 anniversary, we are focused on honoring our veterans, the men and women who have dedicated themselves to protecting our safety and freedom. Their service allows us to enjoy our liberty and spend time with the people we love, and we are proud to support organizations that make a meaningful difference in their lives.”
