Many lenders are accustomed to reviewing Schedule C or page 1 of Schedule E, but those forms don’t apply to every business structure.

If your business is an S Corporation, your income is typically reported differently. Instead of Schedule C, lenders should be reviewing the appropriate S-Corp tax documents, such as:

✅ Form 1120-S (Business Tax Return)
✅ K-1(s) for the business owner(s)
✅ Business and personal tax returns, as applicable

Understanding the difference can help avoid unnecessary document requests and keep your loan process moving smoothly.
