Starting July 4, 2026, parents, guardians, and other authorized individuals will be able to open Trump Accounts, a new retirement savings vehicle for eligible children under the age of 18 with a valid SSN. A pilot program contribution of $1,000 will be available for children who are U.S. citizens and born from Jan. 1, 2025, to Dec. 31, 2028. Children born from Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2024, may be eligible for an account contribution of $250 (they must be one of the first 25 million activated accounts and live in a ZIP code with a median income of less than $150,000).
