Now that another tax season has passed, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal and devoted clients for your continued business.
I do have a statistic to share with you which makes me quite proud. At the close of this initial filing season we only completed 19 less returns than at 4/15 last year! Only 19 returns!
As you all know we entered this tax season with 2 full time employees short. Each employee works at least 60 hours a week. That is at least 960 hours of time we did not have someone working on returns.
However, Patience and I sharpened our pencils, put our heads down, focused on the work and got it done! If this does not prove our commitment to our clients, I truly don’t know what would!
I am so grateful to Patience for sticking with me, working through the weekends and getting it done! I also thank her husband and children for allowing her to be away so much!
We are a team to be reckoned with!

Due to a shortage in staffing and lack of response to employment ads we have been operating at a 50% staffing level all tax season. For this reason we are going to hit our capacity as to what we can complete by April 15th sooner than any other year. If you are opposed to an extension, I encourage you to turn in your tax documents as soon as possible.
I cannot determine when that cut off date will be as we don’t know how many people will turn docs in, in the coming days. In the past we have hit capacity around mid-March. It will be sooner this year.

You should be receiving our Organizer Letter and Engagement Letter in the mail this week.

There are a few new items required this year due to recent tax law changes under the One Big Beautiful Bill, so please review your organizer carefully.

When submitting your tax information, be sure to include your signed Engagement Letter with your documents. Please do not turn in the Engagement Letter by itself—your spot in line is held only when both your signed letter and tax documents are received together.

We look forward to working with you this season!
