Winter & Associates recently had the pleasure of volunteering for Second Harvest Heartland packing boxes of groceries as part of their Commodity Supplemental Food Program. This program supplies shelf-stable groceries to low-income seniors each month so their financial resources can be used towards other urgent expenses. In the two hours we were there, volunteers packed 542 boxes which equates to 14,363 meals supplied.
