Finish up at least 15 of the extensions!
Clean the office basement ( ya)
Yardwork --

so, we're going to take a little attitude adjustment break and close down the office next week -- we've got deadlines, payroll and projects that will get done -- the phones will roll over, emails never stop ... all the normal stuff ...

it'll give all us the flexibility to have some time off -- before the next big crush / rush ... extensions .... :) 10/15 is fast approaching :)

I did made the same decision 4th of July week -- and it felt good ! So, we're going to try it again ... the week leading up to Labor has traditionally been our slowest week of the year ...

I'm back ... briefly -- during "budget season" my County schedule and my CPA schedule collide --- it is life ... thanks for your patience --

Pix from last Wednesday from the happy place. We took our supper/leftovers out there for supper and stayed for sunset -- and tomorrow ---- there is a lunar eclipse and there is a great chance of seeing the Northern Lights here in Hooterville. Charge up your camera batteries, pack your snacks, gas up the wheels, find the heavy duty bug spray and camera charger cables. Find a dark viewing spot ... it's a beautiful gift from Mother Nature ...

Go get 'em !!

Sorting school supplies for the backpack program late this afternoon --- and if you have some time -- I'm sure they'd love a couple extra volunteers today and/or tomorrow -- find their page and sign up !! Many hands make light work .....

in the last 28 hours, I've spent 7 of them on the lawnmower :) my other full time job, and at least 2 hours cussing the internet in Hazzard County .. specifically mediacomm - it hates my laptop ... but in spite of it's flakeyness --- 125 more M1PR's are done -- as of tonight refunds are in excess of $530,000 ... yes, friends more than 1/2 million $'s .. it's a nice tidy sum .. we're plugging along on them

Happy Wednesday !!!

In and out of the office today for county meetings and it's generally the day I work alone -- so -- the door will be locked :) ...

First up is Tri County Solid Waste -- and mid afternoon a liaison meeting the City in the new City Hall .. and why my friends --- is liaison so difficult to spell -- trips me up every time :)

Mid week pix: just another beautiful sunrise - behind the dusty quilts and dirty windows .. and adulthood is a new water heater -- many thanks to the plumbers for making adulthood not so challenging ..

it was a crazy day on Daisy Ln -- I sprayed a lot of weeds ... a lot -- 25 gallons worth of weeds .. and once it was dry enough to mow .. I mowed .. it's ready to bale if anyone needs "grass" hay .. and I need to re-mow it all tomorrow -- argh ...

pix of the week: I spied one of these on N 3rd St on my way home from the office -- it seemed to be getting the job done :) -- unfortunately it probably doesn't cover "acres" :)
