Celebrate National Get Outdoors Day this Saturday by visiting a Minnesota state park or recreation area. On Saturday, all Minnesota state park or recreation areas are free to enter, all day, no vehicle entry permits needed. Spend time in nature by packing a picnic, going on a hike, or enjoying a waterfront view. There's a state park or recreation area within 30 miles of most Minnesotans, so take this opportunity to explore someplace new or rediscover an old favorite!

Did you hear that Minnesota made some changes and approved a few big tax law changes. In true MN fashion, they are a bit late and impact the current 2026 tax year.

The biggest one for individuals is a 15% increase in property tax refunds.

The other is for S Corp and Partnership business owners have the Pass Through Entity tax available again for 2026 and 2027.

I have filed everyone's property tax refund statements already. What will happen is when it is processed they will be adjusting your refund. It should be more than I sent you. For those that didn't qualify or I might not have filed because we haven't finished your tax return. I will do those once Minnesota finalizes the changes.

The business owners that will be impacted, I will email or speak with you individually IF this will benefit you.

Please be patient and we will get through these changes as well.
