Friday was a really special night with the GenNow Network - Tampa Bay Chapter supporting the American Cancer Society.

I’m incredibly honored to have been selected as one of this year’s High Roller Honorees alongside so many people doing great things in our community.

I’ve been thinking a lot about my family today, especially my dad. Watching him battle leukemia with so much strength changed the way I look at life. Seeing him now continue that journey in remission is something I’ll never take for granted.

He’s my reason for betting on a cure.

Grateful for nights like these that bring people together for something so much bigger than ourselves. ❤️

With Mother’s Day coming up, this one feels a little more personal this year. 🌸

Our son is now 7 months old, and if there’s one thing he’s already taught me, it’s this:
You can do everything “right,” and life will still surprise you.

A routine that worked yesterday suddenly doesn’t work today.
A calm morning can turn into chaos by lunchtime.
And just when you think you’ve figured it out… it changes.

What I’m learning is that preparation doesn’t eliminate uncertainty, it just makes it easier to navigate.

That’s true in parenting, and it’s true in financial planning too.
We can’t control markets, timing, or unexpected life events.
But we can put a structure in place that helps us move through those moments with confidence.

Becoming a mom has made that feel more real than ever.

A little early, but Happy Mother’s Day to the women thinking ahead for their families...even when life doesn’t go according to plan.

May the 4th be with you.

In Star Wars, the Force brings balance.

In your financial life, balance looks like:
A clear plan, thoughtful strategy, and disciplined ex*****on.

Not reacting. Not guessing. Just staying aligned with what matters most.

Honored to be a sponsor and honoree again this year for the American Cancer Society’s casino night.

This cause hits close to home—my dad recently battled leukemia and is still dealing with the aftereffects. It’s given me a whole new perspective on how important this work truly is.

Proud to support a mission that’s changing lives and pushing toward a cure.

All in. 🎲

Thank you Mustard Seed Advisors of Raymond James - Hope hit the jackpot because of you.

Your sponsorship helps ensure cancer patients and their families have a safe, free place to stay while receiving treatment.

What you may not know about me is that I’m a Real Housewives fanatic in my free time.

This season on RHOBH, Dorit is going through a divorce from her husband, PK. In one scene, she’s at lunch with some of the other women and admits she doesn’t even know if they have retirement accounts… or really anything about their finances.

Let that sink in.

That’s not just great Housewives drama, that’s real-life risk. And it’s something I see more often than you’d think.

I don’t care how strong your relationship is: if you don’t know what accounts exist, whose name they’re in, where the money is going, or how it’s invested, you’re leaving yourself exposed.

Love is not a financial plan.

This is exactly why I insist on having both partners in the conversation. Because if only one person understands the financial picture, that’s not a plan, it’s a vulnerability.

If your advisor isn’t including both of you, it’s worth asking why.

Know your numbers. Always.

Before the Artemis mission, Commander Reid Wiseman had a conversation most parents avoid.

Not because it was easy.
Because it was necessary.

After losing his wife in 2020, this isn’t a hypothetical conversation for his family. His daughters already know how quickly life can change.

So before left, he sat down with them and walked through what would happen if he didn’t come back.

Where everything is.
What the plan says.
What their lives would look like.

That kind of clarity doesn’t take away the pain.
But it removes the uncertainty.

Most families have pieces of a plan.
Few have this conversation.

And in the moments that matter most, it’s not the documents people struggle with - it’s not knowing what to do next.

If your family had to step in tomorrow… would they have answers, or questions?

Sometimes the most important part of planning is simply sitting down and talking about it.

Markets have felt a little uneasy these past few weeks.

And if you’ve noticed your advisor getting quiet… you’re not alone.
But, this is exactly when you should be hearing from them.

Volatility has a way of shaking confidence, but it’s also where good planning shows its value. History doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes. We’ve seen environments like this before -- and we’ve also seen how quickly things can shift.

Down markets can create opportunities: being thoughtful about putting cash to work, looking at rebalancing, or harvesting losses when it makes sense.

But more than anything, this is a time for communication -- not silence.

If you or someone in your circle is feeling unsure right now, I’m always happy to be a resource or a second opinion. 🤝
