I’m excited to share that I’ve earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation. After 28 years of working with business owners, this wasn’t so much about learning something brand new as it was about honing my skills, broadening my perspective, and building on the insight gained from years of guiding clients through complex financial decisions. The CEPA designation is all about helping business owners understand and grow their company’s value, prepare for future transitions, and align their business, personal, and financial goals. For me, it’s another layer of expertise for work I truly value, helping business owners plan intentionally for what they have built and what’s ahead. I’m looking forward to bringing these new tools and strategies to the business owners and families I serve!

With the wildfires affecting families, first responders, and animals in Brantley County, we wanted to use this Friday’s Shred Fest as a small way to help support our neighbors.

If you’re stopping by and happen to have something to contribute, we’ll also be collecting a few items that local relief groups have said are especially helpful right now.

Items currently needed most:

For families
• Gatorade / Powerade
• Hygiene products
• Non-perishable food
• Can openers
• Towels
• New undergarments (all genders & sizes)

For first responders
• Baby wipes
• AA, AAA, or D batteries
• Tums / antacids
• Eyedrops
• ACE bandages

For animal relief
• Dog & cat food
• Laundry detergent
• Paper towels
• Dish soap
• Trash bags
• Cat litter

We’ll have a donation area set up during the event for anyone who would like to contribute.

Shred Fest 2026 is happening this Friday, May 1st, and now it’s also a way to support our neighbors affected by the Brantley County wildfires. The event will take place as planned in the parking lot at Shops of Demere, but we will now also be collecting donations for wildfire relief efforts.

With Sentry Data Management and Del Sur, we will be collecting donations for families and firefighters responding to wildfires across South Georgia. We will be taking both physical and monetary donations for the relief effort.

We’ll handle the shredding, Del Sur will handle the snacks, and together we can help support our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 30th Annual CASA Luncheon & Fashion Show! 🛍️👠

On April 1st, guests gathered at the beautiful Cloister Ballroom at Sea Island for a morning of fashion, community, and celebration of our incredible local partners. It was a joyful event from the runway to the raffles, but one with a purpose that goes far beyond the ballroom.

Events like this help support CASA Glynn, whose volunteers advocate for children in foster care across Glynn, Camden, Wayne, Appling, and Jeff Davis counties, ensuring their voices are heard and their best interests are represented in court. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) are trained community volunteers who serve as an independent voice for these children throughout the court process.

At Bennett Financial Partners, we are so proud and humbled to support CASA Glynn and the important work they do in our community.

We are grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, and supported this meaningful event. Your continued involvement helps create brighter futures for children in our community.

Tax season is here, and the CPAs in our community put in an incredible amount of work during these months. Long hours, endless paperwork, and a lot of responsibility on their shoulders.

To say thank you, our team at Bennett Financial Partners put together some “Tax Season Emergency Kits” and dropped them off at local CPA offices around town. Just a small way to show our appreciation and hopefully provide a little fuel for those long days of crunching numbers.

We’re grateful for the work you do and the care you give your clients, especially during one of the busiest seasons of the year!
