Dear Customers,
I am writing to update you on how ST Solutions is responding to the growing concern and uncertainty of the Coronavirus COVID-19 situation. At ST Solutions, the health and safety of our customers, associates, employees, and communities is top priority, amidst the concerns of the spread of the Coronavirus. We will continue to serve you, and want to share valuable information with you about how we will continue to operate safely and effectively.
We are beginning to see some disruptions in the supply of products, but please know we are closely monitoring the situation with our suppliers. We have polled the top 80% of our suppliers for updates on their supply status as it relates to the COVID-19 outbreak. Additionally, as we are receiving notifications from suppliers related to service disruptions, we are identifying the potential affected customers, and our sales staff are working with those customers to order additional product or adjust inventory levels as needed.
At this time, the product area showing outages/increased lead times has been centered on personal protective gear such as masks and associated items such as hand sanitizers. ST Solutions’ sales staff are already working with those customers that may be affected by these delays.
In addition to monitoring supplier status and product availability, ST Solutions has implemented a variety of measures to allow continued operations:
• Essential personnel have the capability to work from home if necessary.
• Staff have access to N95 respirators and hand sanitizer.
• Large meetings are being conducted by phone or webinar to avoid exposure.
• Janitorial services have implemented additional sanitation procedures when cleaning our facilities.
• Employees have been encouraged to stay home if they are ill and to notify Human Resources if they or a household member has possibly been exposed or has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
The World Health Organization (WHO) and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is requesting employers to do all they can to slow the coronavirus outbreak. We have implemented proactive steps to do our part, helping to protect our valuable employees and the global market. We are monitoring foreign travel by employees and visitors to our sites in alignment with CDC guidelines. ST Solutions will continue to assess the situation and work with our suppliers, customers, and team members to best limit the impact from COVID-19-related service disruptions.
