Donovan, a Certified Public Accountan
t in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, has had the unique opportunity to consult and advise some of the largest companies in the world while simultaneously rolling up his sleeves to help figure out a way for smaller family companies to make payroll. No stranger to starting up companies, Donovan is the founder of his own CPA firm which has individual and corporate clients throughout the United States. His corporate clients range from start-up one man (or woman) companies to Fortune 500 Companies, and include almost everything in-between. Previous to founding his firm, Donovan was the Chief Financial Officer for a regional New England company involved in the real estate industry. He has also been the Chief of Staff for the largest broker-dealer in the world, and the controller of a start up technology firm. Although he started his financial career in one of the (then) big five accounting firms, he has also worked extensively in the retail food industry and the financial sector. Never accused of sitting idle, Donovan began work at the age of twelve, got his first overtime check at the age of fourteen, worked his first overnight shift at sixteen, and worked his way through both high school and college. Past and present memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Firefighter Treasurer for the Pelham Firefighters Association, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Trustee of The Trust Funds for Pelham, NH, the Dean’s Advisory Council for the School of Business at Salem State College, the Northeastern University Family Business Advisory Center and the Hudson Chamber of Commerce
