Well, that works really well. I am trying to recover my earthlink account because one of my old insurance companies is registered with Earthlink. So I did a recover password, and it sent the recovered message to the same email I am trying to get the password for. 🤣

Complaint filed with Code Complaint on April 28th and, immediately informed our Councilwoman Marina Alderete Gavito, San Antonio City Council District 7 about it. Even got it escalated to the head guy. So far, not a single thing has been done. Unfortunately, I will not be at our June meeting to hear what excuse they have for having the same information I have, and the same results. Parkway Dr. and Oak Knoll is a dangerous intersection of overgrown grass and we are waiting for an accident to do anything? Time to bring in the big guns, Gabriel Castillo and Justin Rodriguez, can you help?

We have some really nice friendly neighbors. The sign partially blocked by weeds says "The last car that parked here is still missing". Even though that would be public street, that they would be parking on. And the other house is on a corner lot with a nice picnic-like area. So he put up a large sign, "Private property, do not enter, did not sit on the benches". If this was my property, I would welcome people to sit at my bench and maybe even bring water out to them. There are a lot of people walking around Bandera Rd. They should have a nice place to sit. Especially since VIA bus service doesn't even provide shade or a trash can for for people waiting for the bus.

I submitted on April 28th a complaint about an overgrown yard making for a dangerous intersection. Code Compliance as usual closed the case because they could not see a violation. They said I used the wrong address. even though I sent pictures of the overgrown yard along with the street sign showing the exact location. They never call, they just close the case as usual and nothing gets done.

Making a right turn off Benrus into Bandera Rd. has also been dangerous for some time now. Sometimes it is just faster to take care of things yourself, so I went out and cut the overgrowth. I just hope I do not get arrested like the chalk artist has been for making something nicer and better on city property.

This is great news for many who came here and not by choice:

Today, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) published a final rule to modify the definition of “lawfully present” applicable to eligibility for enrollment in a Qualified Health Plan (QHP) through the Marketplace and a Basic Health Program (BHP) to no longer exclude Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients from that definition, and, for such programs, treating DACA recipients the same as all other recipients of deferred action. Effective November 1, 2024.

Great, now just improve all this silliness on plans costing less being better than plans costing much more. Plus, out-of-network doctors, unexplained medical charges, contracted rates versus paying cash, and actual medical charges, drug coupons, charges after Out of Pockets have been met, etc.
