October 15 is officially OVER, and the staff at Bass & Associates LLC has left the nest! 😂🐦

We’re CLOSED TODAY for some well-earned rest after the tax deadline. The birds have gathered outside our door, but even that crowd can’t talk us into another return today.

Today’s numbers:
Tax returns: 0
Naps: As many as we can deduct.

We’ll be back Monday- rested, recharged, and ready to let the flock back in!

Check your messages, send outstanding documents, and return any requested e-file authorization promptly. A prepared return still needs your approval before we can hit send!

A receipt helps document a purchase. It doesn’t magically turn every purchase into a business deduction.

Keep supporting records and note the business purpose of your expenses. If the explanation starts with “Well, technically…” let’s talk first. 😂

Bookkeeping tip: Reconcile your bank and credit card accounts each month. Match transactions, investigate differences, and catch duplicates before they become tax-season surprises.

Your books should tell your business story. They shouldn’t require a detective, a psychic, and three pots of coffee.

October 15 is approaching! If you extended your individual tax return, get those remaining documents to us now.

Your extension bought time to FILE—not extra time to PAY. Unfortunately, the IRS doesn’t accept “but I was busy” or a medium fry as payment.

Help us keep Hunter out of the snack stash. Send your paperwork! 😂
