One of the things we have always cared about is making sure the next generation of accountants in the Inland Empire has people in their corner.

The talent pipeline in this profession is shrinking, and we think part of the answer is pretty simple: show up for students before you ever need them to show up for you. Build real relationships. Be present. It is one of the parts of this work we enjoy the most.

You do not always get good at the hard stuff by reading about it. Sometimes you get good at it because you are in the middle of it and have no choice but to figure it out.

We will go first. Learning how to walk a client through difficult information in a way that keeps the relationship strong. That one took some reps.

There are firms where you never actually meet the clients you work for. That has never really been our style.

Our team stays connected to the work in every way that matters. That means being present with clients, but it also means showing up to the conversations that push this profession forward. The goal is always the same: get better at what we do so our clients get the best of what we bring.

That mindset runs through the whole team here and it is a big part of what makes this place work.

The Fourth of July is one of our favorites. The cookouts, the fireworks, the time with family and friends, and the chance to just slow down and appreciate what we have.

No matter how you celebrate this weekend, be safe, have a great time, and make it one worth remembering.

If you have been in accounting long enough, you already know the job you wanted at 25 is probably not the job you want now.

What mattered early on was getting the reps in and building the foundation. But at some point you start looking around and asking different questions. Does leadership here actually lead? Am I growing or just busy? Do I have a say in how things get done or am I just doing what I am told?

Those questions tend to hit quietly, but once they do, they do not really go away.

One of the things we appreciate most about the Inland Empire is how this community shows up for its people.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters TopGolf Tournament was a great example of that. Businesses, professionals, and individuals all coming together to support mentorship programs that make a real difference for young people in this area.

Being part of moments like this is something we do not take for granted. This community takes care of its own, and we are glad to be part of it. 🤝 💙

A lot of what we know about hard work, patience, and doing things the right way came from our dads. Sometimes just from watching someone show up every day and handle things the way they were supposed to be handled. Those lessons tend to stay with you a lot longer than you expect them to.

If your dad or someone who filled that role helped shape who you are, today is a good day to think about that.
