Today we're wishing Cristin a very happy birthday!

As our Director of Technology and Compliance in our Virginia office, Cristin wears many hats and shows up with enthusiasm, creativity, and consideration. She's become essential in more ways than we can count, and every minute is dedicated to helping our Clients feel grounded and informed. Outside the office, Cristin has been enjoying the outdoors – hiking, camping, soaking up fresh air whenever she can. Today, she's enjoying her birthday by taking time to relax and recharge.

We're so grateful for everything she brings to YeskeBuie and to the Clients we serve. Happy birthday, Cristin – here's to Living Big in the year to come!

Ryan Kelly, a Financial Planner in our Virginia office, is celebrating a milestone birthday this weekend and there's plenty to celebrate as he marks the occasion.

Ryan will be celebrating his 30th birthday with mini golf at East Potomac Golf Links, the oldest continuously operating course of its kind in the country, brunch with friends, and bowling at Pinstripes before catching fireworks in DC on the Fourth. As he puts it, turning 30 comes with the sense that you're supposed to have it all figured out, but there's something to be said for holding onto a bit of that youthful spirit along the way.

Last week, Yusuf Abugideiri, CFP® joined the Foundation for Financial Planning Board of Trustees for their June meeting in Los Angeles and the agenda was a full one.

Trustees spent the day working through grant strategy, pro bono volunteer programming, individual giving, and a new Community Wealth Council initiative focused on expanding access to financial planning in underserved communities.

The work FFP does to connect people who need financial guidance with planners who give their time freely really matters, and Yusuf has been part of serving this mission for over a decade. We are proud to continue having leaders at our firm who bring the same commitment to Clients that they bring to their community.

Last night, five members of the YeskeBuie team gathered in New York City for the 2026 InvestmentNews Awards Gala to celebrate their recognitions as Excellence Awardees. Yusuf was named an Excellence Awardee for Financial Planner of the Year in the Southeast Region, his second consecutive nomination in this category, and our Support Team was named an Excellence Awardees for CRM & Technology Team of the Year, earning the recognition in the category’s inaugural year.

Beyond these recognitions, opportunities like this are a reminder of something we don't take for granted – a team that genuinely enjoys being together. This level of connection shows up in the way we collaborate, the way we communicate, and ultimately in the experience our Clients have with us every day.

Giving Big is part of who we are at YeskeBuie. For Ryan Kelly, CFP®, that means showing up again and again.

Ryan has continued working with Tzedek DC's Financial Empowerment Program, recently returning to lead a workshop on Understanding Your Paycheck, helping DC residents build the foundational knowledge to take control of their financial lives. From payroll withholdings and tax brackets to retirement basics, the session covered the essentials that shape every financial decision that follows.

Tzedek DC's work is the kind that compounds, and we're grateful to be a small part of it. Thank you, Ryan, for your commitment to bringing financial planning to those who need it most.

Three new faces. Two offices. One thriving team to serve our Clients.

This summer, we are excited to welcome three talented team members who arrive with fresh perspectives, diverse backgrounds, and a shared commitment to the people they serve.

Austin Sanchez joins our San Francisco office as a Client Support Specialist, bringing discipline, adaptability, and a deep sense of duty to the people he works with from his experience as a U.S. Navy veteran and recent SF State graduate. Erin Huff joins our Virginia office as a Financial Planning Intern, bringing a passion for financial literacy and a record of academic excellence. And Euli Toussaint joins our San Francisco office as a Financial Planning Intern, bringing a background in nonprofit work, varsity athletics, and a genuine commitment to service.
