The position involves working and resolving unpaid medical claims. This requires a good understanding of medical and insurance terminology and how to read an explanation of benefit document from an insurance company. Utilizing online provider portals and calling to resolve billing issues. Assisting patients with questions about their balances due after insurance has paid.
