ARKANSAS TAX FILING UPDATE:

Following the disaster declaration issued by FEMA related to recent severe weather events in Arkansas, the Internal Revenue Service has announced an extension of 2024 federal tax return filing and payment. Residents of Arkansas and those who have businesses in Arkansas will qualify for a postponement of federal filing AND payment to November 3, 2025 for the 2024 tax year.

Following the April 2, 2025 Executive Order which declared a state of emergency in Arkansas, the Department of Finance and Administration has announced an extension of 2024 state tax return filing and payment. Residents in certain counties in Arkansas will qualify for a postponement of state filing AND payment to July 31, 2025 for the 2024 tax year.
