If you filed a tax extension, now is the time to gather your documents and get them to us!

📌 September 15th is the extended filing deadline for S Corporations (Form 1120-S) and Partnerships (Form 1065).

📌 October 15th is the extended filing deadline for individual tax returns (Form 1040) and other extended returns.

The sooner we receive your information, the more time we'll have to prepare and file your return before the deadline. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call! We're always happy to help!

Did you owe a lot of tax for 2025? Were you penalized for not making quarterly payments?

If you can answer “yes” to both, then you may qualify for an automatic refund of a portion of your 2025 tax bill with no action required. The IRS is proactively recalculating their “estimated tax underpayment penalty” based on last year’s deadline postponement until November 3. We have seen refunds of about 50% of the penalty that was paid. If you receive a letter from the IRS in the next few weeks about this and have questions, feel free to reach out to us for help!
