Eric Lewis CPA and the team from Charles Town have settled in to the new Shepherdstown office at 120 N Princess Street. Thanks for bearing with us during the move. We look forward to serving our clients from this new larger location. Free client parking beside the building. Chad Lawyer CPA will continue to serve clients from 224 W King Street in Martinsburg and Tom Ours CPA will continue to serve clients from 130 E German Street in Shepherdstown. OLL CPAS Charles Town is Moving! After 17 great years in Charles Town, we need more room. We'll be moving to a newly acquired building at 120 N Princess Street in Shepherdstown, WV in late October. The building gives us more space to add staff, a conference room and has a section of Town Run crossing the back of the property. It is also just steps from the "Little House" and White Hall and the classrooms that CPA Eric Lewis took all of his Accounting Classes in at Shepherd College (now University). We'll miss Charles Town but we look forward to this newly renovated and expanded space! More updates on timing of the move will be posted.

New West Virginia credit alert! With the new WV income tax credit for personal property tax paid, don’t pay both halves of your personal property tax in 2023. Pay the first half by October 1 2023 and the second half by April 1 2024 so that you can take full advantage of the credit in 2024.

State Revenue Secretary Dave Hardy says new dollar-for-dollar credit doesn't begin until Jan. 1, 2024.

It is that time of year again: when some company called "C.F.S" tries to scam West Virginia business owners into paying $140 to renew their LLC. This is a scam. Your LLC renewal deadline is June 30 2023 - and you can do it yourself online at www.business4wv.com without paying CFS $115 extra dollars. If you receive this notice in the mail, go ahead and trash it.

After fifteen years, it was time for a refresh and the Charles Town office is now fully renovated thanks to the great work by Scott Gordon & Rich Young of Orion Home & Garden (demo, construction, ceiling tiles, LED lighting), Randy & Fran Malick of Tradewinds Floors, MG Cleaning & Painting (prep and painting), Berkeley Glass (front door), PVI Office Furniture, Nikki Butler (creation of the wall map design), Vital Signs of Charles Town (wall map and door logo), and Tom Reilly of TEK Advisors (technology upgrades) and Joy Lewis for the overall design. Looking forward to serving our clients from this fresh new office for 15+ more years!
